In 2012 I met my future husband and little did I know that his family owned a villa in Grimaud. Obviously we went on a holiday to the South of France and enjoyed the Provence lifestyle. Soon it became clear that it would become a destination of choice instead of exploring the world by plane. Not to mention our dogs, who also enjoyed the lush garden and French cheese.

In 2016 we started making plans to permantly move to the Var department and in 2017 we bought our first house in Le Thoronet (see inset). We were confronted with the pleasures of a French lifestyle, but there were also challenges. What about income ?
That's where the villa in Grimaud came back into the picture ... my mother-in-law was looking for someone to help with the housekeeping inbetween tenants, and since we were living around the corner, we gladly toook this opportunity. It became clear that finding local help was essential for home owners who were not living on-site. That's how the idea for this website came to life.
