The SIKADA philosophy ...

On the website we identify our users as either home owners or service providers.

Home owners are considered as people with a property (abroad or not) and are looking for local help.
Service providers on the other hand are people who are offering their local knowledge and talent.

The purpose of SIKADA is to bring these people together in order to create a long-lasting partnership.

Both types of SIKADA users have something to offer to the other : the home owner offers work, the service provider offers his/her expertise. SIKADA allows these people to get in touch with each other by means of launching requests. A request can either be a request for help (launched by a home owner) or a request for work (launched by a service provider).

All SIKADA users can see all the requests and choose to react to them. A reaction to a request is treated as a message (from one SIKADA user to another). Message visibility is only between users.

At that moment that user details are disclosed (email address) in order for both parties to continue their communication outside SIKADA.

We do ask our users to remove their request if it is no longer relevant (it will expire after 30 days anyway).
